Dear Mr. Davis

Thanks you for support of the World Affairs Council through the attendance of programs, meeting with International Visitors program delegates, and promotion of coming events. We are excited about the prospect of collaborating with you on the Bridge Between the Cultures public education project. The goal of promoting a balance view of the Middle East, and engaging the community in discussion of international affairs fits very well with the Council's non-partisan stance and emphasis on education

The World Affairs Council of Puget Sound, a non-profit, non-partisan organization, is the leading foreign affairs forum in the Pacific Northwest. Since 1951, the Council's purpose has been to promote greater understanding of global affairs in our Puget Sound community through a balance of public events, educational activities and the international visitors program. The Puget Sound offices is one of 88 such offices across the country. We are backed by the national office in Washington, DC and supported by the network of local offices.

The World Affairs Council of Puget Sound would be happy to provide contact information for the other branch offices of the World Affairs Council as possible resources for the Bridge Between the Cultures Project. Other offices may be able to integrate your project into their planned lecture series or discussion group formats. They may also be able to provide media connections in each community.

We are very happy to support the Bridge Between the Cultures Project and wish you great success. Please feel free to contact our office if you have any question or concerns.
