The Gray Book

Most desktop publishers work in black-and-white or gray most of the time. So it is a little strange that few computer books discuss grayscale techniques. The Gray Book explores the subjects of contrast (value, size, position), black & white techniques (reverses, initial caps, shadows) grayscale technique (screens, drop shadows, gradients) and includes two galleries, one annotated, one organized by subject. The Gray Book is a welcome effort.
